it's amazing how the models used to just be perfectly beautiful, no weird odd features about them just stunning stop you dead in your tracks perfectness good looks

When I was a teenager in the early 90s I used to say "It must be so hard to find a good model, because not only do they have to be tall and very thin, but they also have to be really beautiful, have good skin, healthy hair, a long neck, be photogenic, etc, etc, etc."
But nowadays it seems that any random tall/thin girl can be a model.

exactly! thats why these girls were so elite, bc it was so rare to find such perfect beauty and not just any model could get "in" so to speak...

now if a girl is tall and thin and maybe has something odd but not pretty about her she can be a model, it seems. and I don't know how many models I see now in backstage candids with under eye cirlces and bags down to their lips and some even having major blemishes, its just not attractive to me looking that way, they would have never made it as a model in the 90's!
