Trying to find some more rare / unseen pics for folks, so unless you have the Look Books, many of these I have not seen on the web or in other print media. And apologies... I have a ton from the late 80s as well, but I need to refresh my Model IDs... You know you are getting old when you forget the name of a gorgeous model.

Sticking with Versace for now, and Cindy...

Designer: Gianni Versace

beautiful pic, beautiful models, beautiful everything, thanks for sharing :woot: :woot: ^_^

My pleasure. This is my favorite period for Versace. His catalogs from #22 to #27 were just incredible. #23 (FW 92/93) is my personal favorite and I still own many pieces from the collection.

I totally agree with you, Versace from 90 to 94 was pure genius! In my opinion that was his peak.

FW 92/93 is the bondage leather collection, it had to be your favourite ^_^

what do you have from that collection? just curious

Let see what I have off the top of my head...

I have this full set (minus the belt) and I think one of my old GFs stole/borrowed the jacket... but anyways, two pair of the pants, 1 of the shirts, and the jacket is somewhere. Also have two of the same shirts for Men (my actual pieces that I can wear) one black and one white.

Another of my all time favs. I have two pairs of the pants... Had won the jacket but seller refused to sell about 5 years ago on eBay because it only got as high as $700. One pair of pants is missing the gold medusa in the middle near the top so I have to figure out a repair.

This next set I used to have the jacket and the skirt. Just have the skirt right now. Some IDIOT pirated took off the buckles of the side of the jacket, my guess was they did not like them or needed a repair... but man.. The coat was gorgeous. Probably should have kept, but I sold because of the damage

What is Versace without his silk prints. I have the famous Miami but I am afraid to wear it for stains, etc.

Have two more pants that SHOULD be from this collection. I need to go back and verify. They have about 100 decorative gold grommets running down each leg with a cross lace pattern between them. These pants ARE A PAIN, because the grommets are so delicate, on both pairs I have at least 3 or 4 of the grommets that need to be repaired because they split.

I have bought and sold about a dozen more pieces from the collection. I will tell you, it KILLS me to have to sell pieces, but it is the profits that help me build it up, but my Chanel and Jitrois leather will truly bankrupt me.

"borrowed" sounds nicer :p

how lucky! those shirts are wonderful

I guess the jacket had a reserve price, how much $ the seller expected for it?

they are marvelous :woot:, I wouldn't wear it if it were mine ^_^

Btw, thank you for the Versace video, Tito. That collection was one of Versace's last great collections IMO. I hated the hair and makeup....but Angelika looked really gorgeous in that collection. And my god, Yasmeen's body :heart:. That body is incomparable.

Does anyone know who that black model at the end is? I've seen her before but I don't know her name.

That's Deon Bray. I have this show in full on video & just love it. For those I've talked about it with before I'm glad you've finally seen it. :DOpened by Kristen & closed by Linda. It's a great show.

I didn't know where to post these... so they are here.

Vogue Italia's September 1991 issue is one of the featured articles here on TFS. If you guys haven't already seen that issue, you can take a look at it in the "vintage magazines" section of the site. The issue contains two beautiful editorials, one starring Christy T and the other Carre Otis.
