The supers had already been guests on Oprah's show, in 1990. They even served as judges (along with John Casablancas) for a modeling competition that was held in that same episode. I remember that Oprah asked Linda something like "What did you look for in the contestants?" and Linda said "Potential."
The girl who was chosen as the winner of the competition is now an actress.
