yeah could be, they were all so busy and christy had that exclusive contract with CK what were the restrictions calvin put on her?? i can't remember but i can picture christy behind linda hugging close, my fave part is the closeness between claudia, naomi, yasmeen and nadege all smiling together

Alot of them were really close, especially The Trinity. Christy kind of pulled away a bit it seems from 'the scene' and of course she really did about 1996 and has gone further away. I love her but she just seems to be like whatever about the whole thing, she should be more proud of her past.

You know it, I think Naomi,her & Christy are quite the beauties.

they sure are but i love them all, i can see why designers and editors used all of them, they all had a unique identity in the competitive world of modelling that is the secret to getting to the top, also personality what they were like backstage how they got on with the designers, presence too on the runway its not luck these women made it to supermodel status you need all these things and its so good to see it all come together so perfectly in the early 90s and gianni treating them like stars plus other designers and staying loyal to them as we know fashion is a fickle business it is always changing and models looks come into fashion and out but many of the 90s girls survived the waif, grunge, heroin chic etc wave and made it to the mid 90s and beyond

Of course they're all at least good! Up until about 1992 a girl had to work hard to be called Supermodel ever since than an especially today it's thrown around . The Elites like Naomi,Linda,Christy(when she chooses to),Cindy,Claudia and a few others still work today getting covers and all. These girls worked for like 20 damn years, now you'll be lucky to be known and used for 5.

its true they sat together alot backstage of the shows they were the party girls and had known each other the longest, it really comes through in the pictures their friendship, as the new girls came in 1990 i know that helena, karen and yasmeen hung together with carla, carla was popular and cause she spoke italian you need that in milan lol but they all talk to each other at the shows and if they have photoshoots together they catch up,

there couldn't be serious rivalry or tension backstage of the shows or the designers who were sensitive would see and feel it and you they wouldn't be hired again, i know that naomi and tyra had issues and you don't see them booked for the same shows if they are then they were kept away from each other

Carla has a really unique voice . As for the ladder Tyra is a sensitive cry baby. Naomi hung out with her peers and talent and I will leave it at that.

don't get sad lol they live on in magazines, on the net and runway footage i saw a great versace documentary on the biography channel with some small clips of runway footage from gianni early 90s show and they were outstanding they looked like godesses/silent movie stars from the past or future maybe both, i can see why andy warhol said "fashion shows are the new theatre" but nowadays the girl and anon look is in its about not standing out being photogenic not beautiful there is a big difference, also the latin curvy healthy looking girls look is going or has gone breaking news...fashion is fickle lol

Versace had the best shows period and he only hired the best. But it's hard since I think girls like Bev,Brandi are in trouble they have lost most if not all there money and I'm hearing horrid things. Karen has lost her mind I don't know how she is doing now. But I can't help but to think of how several of them ended up. Not that Supers are no longer,they are forever. Of course I wouldn't mind seeing it again. It's about the girls though to me and their lives.
