Yes Indeed, she can pull off just about anything I've seen it from her 20 years in the business!

i hope i can explain it, heres how i see it......i like all the early 90s supermodels i can see exactly why they were used including claudia and i can see what makes claudia special,

all the supermodels had strengths and weakness but what was/is important is to have a unique identity a look all yours that no other model comes close too

thats what the designers saw when they met these women in person and explains why they stayed loyal to certain girls through the 90s (the key was to looked nothing like each other be unique) they represented all kinds of beauty and claudia can't be dismissed, its true that her best work was with the guess campaign and her strengths are the bardot look and she is commercial (she is white, blonde, blue eyed, big breasted and has small baby like features)

but she had weaknesses too one of the most famous being her teeth i was so shocked to watch the film 'love actually' and notice when she smiled how huge her front two teeth are but its ok, supermodels are allowed to have faults, in fact if a 90s model that has faults can make it to supermodel status then it shows that its not just about looks

its a combination of presence (seeing these girls in person will blow you away), how they are on the runway, how they act backstage, their attitude, personality and of course beauty so you can the get the devotion of the designers, photographers and editors, its something so extrodinary to have all these qualities coming together with a certain human being

as a general rule the girls gianni versace embraced and hired again and again were the supermodels of the early 90s and claudia is a worthy part of this group

You went deeper than I was willing at the time! I was getting at that but also seeing were Sepia is coming from, too. She is not the only person to say that also Gilles Bensimon 'we don't need her' and Peter Lindbergh said he heard 'bland,boring,emotionless...' from many. Sure being commercial(white,blond,busty...)didn't hurt, nor coming along at the time she did, but at the end of the day she is not a bad model. She is part of the Elite group of Supers Cindy-Christy-Naomi-Linda, but like Sepia she doesn't compare IMO. And as time has gone by you hear less about her as far as 'Who do you remember or who is great...' but in her day she was a force in the business.

Another great point all the great girls had flaws. Like Claudia take the other Elite Supers Cindy(mole,tad bigger build physically),Naomi(race & cut above her lip),Linda(not the best body,short chin) & Christy(thighs). And girls like Steph(gap teeth,skin) & the list of girls goes on. Many had problems but they are known as beauties and when the 'weird' waifs came they were than almost hailed as classic beauties. But in ways they're not perfect and I hate when people say that and use that factor as a means of their success. They had flaws but what made them different is they knew how to handle them and made their flaws and themselves beautiful, fabulous and enviable. And that my friends is a great model.

Hmmm, haven't quite checked em out like that. But again add Steph-implants and Linda-nose to the not so perfect list. However, the photos still work. They are great models with some imperfections, we all got them. Also what may bother one doesn't bother another.

Claudia is extraordinarily beautiful and sexy. Some pictures blew me away. She also had something cute about her. Her mouth was so curvy. She had a cute smile.

But at the end of the day, she wasn't really my thing. She was sexy, but she was typical sexy. Like she was the hottest of the all the typical girls you've seen in your life... know what I mean?

These are how I see the flaws of the girls:
Linda - weird nose, a little too weird looking
Christy - nose is wayyyyyy too narrow, it feels like a sliver almost
Naomi - too perfect looking that I get bored?

hahaha that's just my personal take. They are all beautiful and extraordinary just not suited to me personally. Stephanie is my fave of the period but her nose is also too narrow. Helena is my second fave and her features were all sort of squished together.

want to clarify - I DON'T meant to criticize or pick on the girls, just wanted to give my own personal perception of them.
