Gianni Versace made a lot of colorfull designs. It was not very suitable, but it was cool to see those on runways!

For the most part I have to agree,although I think people under-estimated him in that he could & did make suitable/normal clothes if you will. He just preferred it seemed to 'jazz it up a bit for sex appeal' which I think is better anyway b/c it made him stand out. He made clothes for the hip,young & sexy! He's still one of my favs.
