apparently on thursday, oprah had a segment on these. before the show was even over, we started getting calls about them. it's been nonstop and we dont have them. stop being sheep!

what is this supposed to mean?
pics please?

Weirdly, I saw that Oprah show (they also had a feature on the Missoni family).

Adam+Eve make basic t-shirts made from really soft Peruvian cotton. Oprah has a thing for their white v-necks. She wears them to sleep, to the gym, at home, all the time. How funny that people would be calling about them. I guess Oprah really is influential! ^_^

^^^Yeah. Oprah is very influential...everyone takes her thoughts and what she likes to heart!

^perhaps..but who really takes her FASHION thoughts to heart? hmmm...

I recently saw their menswear line @ the Saks here in Boston..nothing outstanding or new really, but I saw some nice "basic" pieces, which would work for the layered look...I actually bought my first pair of shorts (in 6 yrs) from their line..nothing noteworthy, but it wasnt all that bad..

Wow, a white cotton t-shirt, never seen that before! :innocent:I can't believe how influential Oprah is in the retail world, it's ridiculous! Causing a hysteria over a white t-shirt? :o

^^^agreed!!
I watched the show... it was just a lame excuse to show off the rest of the clothing line, including way more expensive clothing..

they now have waiting lists for these like it's a fendi b bag or some sh*t. haha.

doesn't look like anything special to me. it must be really comfortable or something...but it's better than Juicy I suppose.

Tell me she's joking. It's a cotton t-shirt. WHAT?!  Oprah love - you might work that red carpet well but leave your shameless bland fashion promotions to your nightmares please, not our realities :p

It's unbelievable the amount of influence she has. Especially the book club, any time I watch her show and a book is featured (literally, any book) it winds up on the amazon.com bestseller list (forever!). Even the reruns! And let's not forget 'Oprah's Favorite Things!!!' :woot:...

I still can't believe I missed the Missoni segment though

In case you haven't noticed, I have a love-hate relationship with Oprah...

I hate her. I watched about 5 minutes of her show a few months back and some doctor was presenting halthy vs. unhealthy food (it was all layed out on a table) as he was talking she was stuffing her face with something that was full of trans fat and monosaturated fats. The ridiculous part was that she kept eating it after he told her.

What was the deal with her and some Hermes shop that wouldnt let her inside the store?

i wouldn't have let her in either.

have you SEEN her without make-up?!

it's a like a totally different being.

I don't like how high and tight the v-neck is on that shirt. Seems unflattering, comfortable as it may be.
