I actually can't even imagine how would that look like. To me, VS is Adriana. I don't know what could they do without her?

I agree, francesca073. She is VS and there's no denying that. She's going to want to leave at some point though and they'll scramble to replace her like Maybelline did with Emily, but it just won't be the same because there's nobody like her!

I wish Adriana had stayed with Maybelline .. outside of the US , most people know Adriana for Maybelline , at least when I mention the name 'Adriana' , people in my country don't say ' The vs angel?' , they say 'The Maybelline model'

Yes, but VS Beauty was offering her an insane amount on top of her Angel contract and on top of any other contracts she has with them. I think anyone in their right mind would've left. I think VS Beauty wanted her exclusively for a long time.

yeah, but she has money, i even think it would be the best for her to leave VS and start some serious work, like gisele did. i admire gisele for that.

But maybe she really enjoys working with Vs? That kind of steady job in this business is a rare case, and if on top of that she likes it there, so why on earth should she leave? No offence to anyone, but Gisele`s and Adriana`s careers are not very comparable. Anyway, why VS is made to sound some type of monster who sucks models in? I think it`s company as any other, and seems like a fair employer, too ( hence long contracts etc).

Gisele left because VS didn't want to give her the amount of money that they're now giving Adriana. Gisele would probably still be with VS if they did. I think once Adriana's contracts are up with VS she'll leave, but VS has no plans of letting her go unless she wants to go. And I agree about that last part TommyGirl. Most models would love to sign a $20 million dollar contract and know that they're at least guaranteed $4-5 million every single year for the next five years on top of whatever else they're raking in and whatever other contracts they might have.

^ I didn't know that was confirmed.. anyway Gisele has done tons of things when she left VS and Adriana has done tons of things staying with VS. So it turned out great for both of them.. And I agree.. you can not compare Adriana and Gisele..

No, you cant compare Adri and Gisele! They are both great but different!
It takes guts to do what Gisele did, I mena she is on a completely dif. level than any other model,. She knows she calls the shots, and she knows she is worthy, so she is afraid to leave after a while and look for something that pays better. Not a lot of models could do that: quit VS and still make more money than the current VS models, and keep on growing and developping like she did! I give her heads up for that: her attitude is perfect for this industry: you can't be soft and let any company/ agency rule over your life, career and finances...but again, not every one could do that.

Adri is great, she is just dif. for me...she isnt high fashion, she is more of a sweet next door girl. regardless, she stil gets paid well, i dont think she complains!lol

You do know she's done many many high fashion campaigns, and many many high fashion runways right? She's not a just commercial model.

So true. She's been featured in ads for Armani, Armani Jeans, BCBG, Blumarine, Bulgari, Elie Saab, Givenchy, Versace, XOXO and many others. And she is definitely NOT the girl next door.
