Hello, I was just wondering if it was true that she was a playmate who just got lucky in the modeling world? I just read that , so i came here to ask... I always assumed she was a real model always , like in Victoria Secret, so i was a bit shocked.. Thanks in advance

Ebanks isn't the only Victoria's Secret Angel whose love life is on the upswing. Adriana Lima, star of the new Victoria's Secret commercial that debuted on the Super Bowl, is dating Marko Jaric, a guard for the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves.

The day before her ad premiered last weekend, "Marko chartered a plane to be with her on her big day," says a source. "He flew in Saturday and flew back early Sunday morning so he could be on time for practice."

As Lima tells PEOPLE: "I'm happy."

I'm SO confused by your post, I didn't say Adriana's family wasn't mixed I know it is. Her grandmother is Japanese, and her Grandfather was African on her mothers side. I don't understand what you are talking about...it's simple the little girl in the front is her cousin. I guess they look like her but the question that was asked was are they her family, as to which the response is No. Adrielle is the only one in that picture that is her family. Her Mother does look mixed as well as her Dad, again I don't see what you are really even talking about

Someone said that the people in the pic do not look like Adriana. Another person said they do because her family's mixed. You said the only family member in the pic is her cousin in the front seat (although there are TWO people in the front). I wanted to clarify for the ORIGINAL person who made the comment that they do not look like her, that they could indeed visually represent her family's looks like according to Adriana's statement on Fashion TV about her heritage. I hope that's clearer.

Who said that her grandmother is Japanese? I guess she was referring to another grandmother who she said that she gets her eyes (eye color) from.

I looked at some pics of Marko on Getty, and he's not bad in the looks department at times to me. I have no clue how they met (does anyone?), but it seems he's a better fit for her (young and in the public eye) than the Prince.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID the site at all costs! It has some extremely negative things to say about Adriana - not to mention it's blatantly homophobic and racist.

The site claims Adriana (and other VS models) look like men.

I've always like Adriana and frown upon all the negativity displayed toward her sometimes!

Since you said to avoid it, I went there. The funny thing about that site is that the girl making her 'point,' whatever it is, shows Adriana's beautiful photos to demonstrate how ugly she thinks Adriana is. Then she has photos of some less than stellar (to be nice) women to prove her point. So like all racists, she's ignorant. She's mad that her boyfriend loves Lima
