^What do you mean by "Selita was an exception"?This is not an argument.It's obvious you have no idea about their concepts regarding the angel statute and the fantasy bra...If you compare Selita with Doutze you'll see the 2nd one does VS ads since 2003 and 2 VS show (like Selita). It's not like the longest working employee gets the fantasy bra or is opening the show. It about who's the hottest in the eyes of VS. I'm not trying to say Doutzen is hotter or anything, but I think you're theorie isn't really logic.

well ... rumours are rumours ... and as of now they're completely unsubstantiated.

i will definitely say that i find it very surprising that Adriana hasn't had the bra already. the only possible explanation would be that it's due to her lack of English (*which, i have noticed, she has radically improved recently*). i think that Adriana will likely get the bra this year and i do think she deserves it. she's looking hotter than ever, her popularity is at its peak, it seems like her year.

however -- there's a part of my gut that thinks it'll go to Miranda Kerr. i just have a feeling that VS is really going to try and push her to be a huge name for them.

i will add one thing, though: just because a model isn't an official Angel, doesn't necessarily mean that she can't wear the fantasy bra. remember in 2002 when Karolina Kurkova wore it -- and at that time, she wasn't an Angel and had only done 2 previous shows for VS.

Bottom line...I think Adriana will get it...because of her dropping the hint in her recent interview I don't think she would have said that if VS wouldn't have had her plug that she hasn't had it....it's not in her character to just bring that up on her own.

I believe doutzen doesn't deserve it and far from it...maybe in a few years. But with Adriana hosting her own show special, doing the super bowl commercial, co launching the biggest bra launch with karolina of the year for vs, hosting the super bowl party, and her dropping the hint on the interview. So I don't think Doutzen will get it...I think it's a rumor someone came up with because they were a hopeful Doutzen fan. But I would bet every dollar I have on Adriana having it.

There are several things working against Doutzen...she's not an angel, she's not got the name or popularity to pull it off, she does tend to look chunky because she's big boned...and her english and personality isn't up to par with Adriana, or any of the other angels. As I said...there is no doubt in my mind Adriana will get it this year...with how she's being pushed for VS.

well the bra is a pretty big deal so (if i were adriana) I'd be kind of offended if after I've been working for the company for YEARS!! they go and give it to someone new!!
It's plain rude honestly. They'd be acknowledging someone who doesn't deserve it.

Plus I really doubt people who only know the models in the catalog would know Doutzen.
She isn't even famous outside of high fashion.

They gave Selita the bra because she was dating Nick Canon and got a lot of media exposure.

Agree with you Dadum, hope she'll get soon the same fame she's got at present with L'Oreal - if not because she isn't the longest working employee or bla bla, then only because she's the most beautiful, intelligent, and down-to-earth VS girl they always dreamt about.

Are you sure you're not Doutzen's mother..because I can't believe anyone would be that delusional.

I wonder how they ever got along without her...oh and if she's so wonderful...why has she been working for them since 2003, and only been in 2 shows, and not an angel yet? Plus...she didn't show very much intelligence when she blew off the show last year...not a wise move.

Interviews I've seen her she's not that impressive...she's very boring and timid. Not impressed.

The only reasons he won't get the bra is because she's not a big enough name, nor famous enough....and for a anyone to say she's a bigger name than Adriana...well their more delusional than I thought.

I have nothing against Doutzen...she's not my cup of tea...but to say she deserves it or she'll out shine it is just stupid and delusional...she needs to become an angel then be an angel for a year or two then MAYBE get the bra.

I don't know how to answer you why she only did only 2 VS shows, but be sure it isn't about her beauty;it's obvious you don't know very well Doutzen and don't read her interviews. I do read them + I also read/watch Adriana's.
And I'm not saying Doutzen has bigger name than Adriana:she's younger and hasn't got any famous relationship so far...+ professionaly talking, Adriana is known only for her VS contracts.

Adriana is known for Her vs contract, her maybelline contract, her TIM contract, and as well as her now Liverpool campaign, not to count she was one of the top 5 most famous Guess models! LOL!!!!!!! Also Adriana isn't famous for her boyfriends..her only really famous boyfriend was Lenny and that was years ago she doesn't date that famous guys...she doesn't get known for that sorry so please stop using that excuse!
