My sister and I have become big fans of him recently. I ordered a photobook on him.

What a wide pleasure for the eye ! Delon was with Monica Vitti, the most beautiful couple on screen in l'Eclisse of Antonioni, he was Tancredi the superb (Gattopardo)... Le samourai, William Wilson (Louis Malle, Spirits of the dead)... And the sultry professor, beautiful like a sin in " La prima notte di quiete " (Zurlini)...
We watched Rocco e i suoi fratelli and Il Gattopardo already, and just saw Les Félins (an underrated gem). Great films! And soon, the DVDs for Le Samouraï, L'eclisse (want to see Vitti here, too ) & Plein Soleil will arrive. I can't wait to see them all; just reading about them makes me anticipate them more. What a great actor! Not to mention beautiful (I'll agree with the first post of this thread, Delon is probably the most handsome actor in history.) B)
In " Il gattopardo ", he have the most delicate and sexual cheekbones ever. And always, his eyelashes like shadows on his thin skin (moonlight on the snow). And his butt...
