Pre-fall at Alberta Ferretti was made up of an uberposh wardrobe for an East Cost high-society girl. Furs were foremost with tricot mink coats and cropped shearling capes, accompanied by a glamorous sequined minidress and another in pleated silk with velvet and lace details and worn with a long silk tulle underskirt. Rich, structured brocade wool skirt suits were also key, as was a sexy fitted tuxedo with velvet strips along the side of the pants.
