Hope I'm getting it right this time. I didn't see a thread, so I thought I'd start one. I really enjoyed the show, I felt really lucky to have been there because I am a huge fan of hers. According to the show notes, this is the first time the bags and shoes have been her designs. There are a few more pics up on getty, but I'm laaazy, so here's the ones I thought were interesting. Oh, and it's pretty obvious but the theme was athletics.

Hm. I want to like this collection, but there's something about it that I don't care for. I can't really put my finger on it, but there's something.....off.

hmmmm.....doesn't seem as great as last season.

I agree, Scott.. I love her work but this feels a little too forced somehow. hope the entire collection can change my mind eventually. -_-

Unfortunately, the one thing I still do not know is where she sells. It's really a shame because the only places I know of to buy her stuff is either yoox or ebay. I can say that she is pretty much Russian fashion's success story, and has been on the map since her education at Saint Petersburg State University of Technology and Design, where she was successful in a number of prestigious competitions. She seems really personally invested in Russian fashion, choosing Russian themes for many shows and, I have heard, hiring only Russian models directly from their Russian booking agencies.

This is at least her second season showing at the Caroussel du Louvre and being listed in the official info for Paris Fashion Week, so I hope that is an indication she is making headway, though unfortunately her coverage in non-Russian media is extremely limited. Hope that helps, if anyone else knows something more about her, I would love to hear about it!

She obviously wasn't aiming for boredom but that is all that can be evoked from this, sadly...

Her themes/inspiration are always quite apparent but they've never been this heavy-handed before... :ermm:

not as good at her past 2 seasons but still very interesting
that mask...

Has potential but ends up falling flat, imo. Seems too contrived.

i was waiting to see her collection,... but would agree with ibimus...
