I was hanging out with my friend last night who is a makeup artist at a MAC store and she said she just had her training for all the Fall 08 make up collections and looks. It's a lot of smoky eye looks btw but really my point is I saw the color samples of the McQueen stuff! It's cool colors. The whole collection follows cleopatra/neptune-ish colors. I didn't see the products but the smears of them on her worksheet thing and the drawing of the faces that they made up. The powder liner looks pretty good because it's a pencil so it's not messy but it stays on really well b/c it's so pigmented. And the paint pots and the eyeshadows coordinate with a cobalt blue, a seafoamy jade, and a yellowy green version of each. Exciting!

The more I read about this, the more I want to have everything, lol. I think I have never been this excited about a MAC collection (and I've been really, really excited about other ones, so try to imagine).

but I am dissappointed in the colours...
not b/c I don't like them but b/c I don't think they will look good on me.

I know, I don't think the "Pagan" color will look good unless you have dark skin but I like the other colors...

Oh gosh I can't wait. I did expect more from the packaging but I love the colours and MAC know that just the selling point of the McQueen name means that it will sell either way.
