adore. but the shoes, what is it with burton and this wedge every season save her first? new shoe time...and show wise, we need an exciting venue...

ruffles Sarah? really?

RUFFLES?

They were in the show too, she's going the right way if she's trying to make McQueen more feminine... even if it means ignoring his legacy and adopting the most obvious forms of femininity in clothing details.

You guys don't like the shoes? I think they are amazing!!! The higher, the better

At first this looked like a very sophisticated Dior, then I saw some McQueen.

Wonder how much the slave bracelets are gonna go for. So beautiful.

it wasn't looking as 'frou frou' as it does here...

This was exactly how I expected the runway collection to translate into as their commercial collection. I don't like it in the slightest bit, the tailoring looks like a slightly more detail-oriented version of what you would find in Armani's mainline collection, so is basically looking like something a conservative rich man's wife would be buying in a place like St.Tropez... certainly nothing you would want to associate with the name of Alexander McQueen.

I think its a stunning collection. I love it. But its not McQueen...
I can definitely see myself in many of those dresses though.

I get where you're coming from, a few of those dresses (the pink & purple short tiered ruffle numbers) are way too saccharine sweet

Mostly pure beauty going on though, I'd love to see an actress in that long solid rose dress  The black silk suit is sleek and killer as well. In general, I'm favoring the more minimal stuff here, which is unusual for me as far as the McQueen brand is concerned, I usually swoon over the more ornate and intricate designs.

Some of it is gorgeous but please, please no ruffles :( It's also getting dangerously simple. McQueen was never simple.
