went to this show-a really really big scene. i love fashion and alexander wang, but i almost gave up my seat b/c it was so hipster. i'm like ugly betty in a sea of amanda's (ok, not really, but i'm not 15 and 22 pounds). Anyway, i hear you on the ripped tights being a bit much, but the venue and the vibe warranted it. the collection truly was beautiful. don't get me wrong, i really really love fashion (i mean real fashion, not the trends) but erin wasson takes herself WAY too seriously....

I LOVE this collection! I actually want 99% of these pieces, the only part i dont like is the distressed denim, but i can forgive him for that!
The skirts are gorgeous, especially all the zip detailing on them, and I am liking the bags too! Thanks god for alexander wang!

the lack of colour is totally boring. but besides that, i really loved it. very cool, very chic, with a dangerous feel to it. the ripped tights adds character. love it!!!!

I love this collection! The best so far of NYC. But it has a lot of Erin Wasson written all over it. Don't like the wripped tights, bit Britney.

I agree!! I LOVE Alexander Wang. he has never disappointed me.

hmm i dont know...i'm disappointed...

i much preferred his spring collection..
it was a lot cooler and more effortless imo..

this looks like it's trying a bit too hard...
and more than that...most of the clothes just arent flattering on the girls..
the styling isnt that great either....**and usually that's a big part of what's so cool about his stuff..

i think the pants are awkward...the fit of the shorts is strange...
the ripped stockings are boring...none of it really works this time


strange..because spring was so cool imo..
and that dress toward the end with the cut-out pieces...yikes...horrible!!!...

I LOVE this collection! It's very wearable and completely my style. But it's probably not going to appeal to a wide range of people because the collection is pretty one dimentional. And at times the styling may have been too much (distressed denim, ripped rights, zipper boots), but I think it's very workable in real life.

I think I like it but I'm afraid I'm just biased toward the moody setting. I love the dark background and lighting, and harsh makeup.

I HATE the ripped up denim shorts and leggings-as-pants, but some of the shirts and dresses are lovely, particularly the peach bandage wrap dress on Chanel. It's very Balenciaga inspired.
