Alice is in wonderland
AUSTRALIA'S Next Top Model graduate Alice Burdeu has become just that - a top model.
The Brunswick beauty has landed her first major international advertising deal, having been plucked from the catwalks of Europe to star in the new Dolce & Gabbana campaign.
The glamorous campaign was recently shot by famed photographer Mario Testino.
Burdeu has generated considerable interest from some of Europe's top fashion houses since she went overseas earlier this year.
She strutted the catwalks for a number of top labels at New York Fashion Week and followed up with a number of appearances during Milan and Paris fashion weeks.
One of the shows in which she was cast during Milan Fashion Week was that of Dolce & Gabbana. Not long after her appearance, the lanky, ethereal redhead was signed for the designers' new ad campaign.
Dolce & Gabbana was not the only fashion house interested in Burdeu. She was on hold for the new Prada campaign and is the face of Austral ian Napoleon Perdis cosmetics.
Burdeu will return to the country for Australian Fashion Week in Sydney at the end of this month and will return to Melbourne to spend time with her family.
Fox 8's new series of Australia's Next Top Model kicks off on April 22.
Burdeu has become the most successful winner of the Next Top Model franchise anywhere in the world.
