It's been so cute on this season of AusNTM...

In the first episode, they thanked Alice for being so great, working so hard etc. and representing AusNTM so well. Now in the the last episode, when one of the girls was being bullied, a judge was like... ( along these lines, not exact quote)
" All the girls picked on Alice because she was different... now all those girls are working in [ some crap store or something] and Alice is in Milan shooting a new Vogue editorial."

It was too cute!! So much Alice love!

^^ I know . I think every time they mention her name in public (the Vogue Aussie folks too) they add that she's the most successful winner of the franchise. They're practically beaming!

Perry said the other girls were serving muffins while Alice was in Milan. I think that during the F/W season when Alice hit it big with Proenza Schouler the Aussie newspapers posted pictures of former contestants in her cycle serving muffins and coffee at a restaurant beside runway pics of Alice. To rub it in, I guess, since she was the least liked in the house.

^ It was actually a former winner of ausntm that is now waitressing.

I remember in the final when most of the girls said they wanted Steph to win, and Jane even refused to hug Alice. She was the stand out girl from the cycle in terms of her look and style from the very beginning.

^ Oh really? I hadn't realised, thanks for telling me. Alice's cycle was the first season I ever saw. Oh dear. Well, no shame in honest work!

To be fair I wasn't a big Alice B fan either during the cycle. She had the look but she was just so lifeless . (I liked that she seemed to have a brain, though. I loved Steph H for the most part but the poor girl didn't know Chile was a country .) But I still followed what Alice was doing and once you do that you can't help but get involved on the girl's behalf . Now seeing her transform I'm a total Burdeu fanatic.

In some ways I think they are painting Alamela to be this season's Alice...and I thought that the Alex Perry comment about serving muffins in a coffeehouse was a bit wrong since it was Eboni who was...Steph and Jordan are signed with Priscilla's as well so I was like "Huh?!?".

Jordan has already quit modeling and I haven't seen too much work from Steph lately tbh. Maybe she's doing some shows at fashion week, but I haven't been following for fear of getting spoiled for S4. In particular, Paloma (also with Priscillas, but no work to be seen) and Jane completely dissed Alice -- Jane at the finale and Paloma, after getting booted, saying it would be a farce if Alice won. For all I know they very well could be pushing muffin carts because they certainly haven't succeeded in modeling like Alice has.
