With her misty grey eyes and delicate air, Alice Burdeu beguiled a nation on Australia's Next Top Model and earned the right to live the ultimate fashion dream.
As part of her prestigious prize package, including a one-year deal with Priscilla’s Model Management and Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics, the flame-haired beauty scored an exclusive eight-page fashion feature in Vogue Australia.

From Christain Dior, Collette Dinnigan to Nina Ricci and more, the Vogue fashion team chose an array of glamorous floor-length gowns from the world’s most coveted designers which suited the willowy model’s tall frame to a tee.
Snapped by Troyt Coburn and styled by Vogue Australia’s Victoria Collison, the results from this lavish photo shoot are simply stunning – so much in fact that the Vogue team decided Alice deserved every model’s dream: a Vogue cover.

She looks so beautiful in the behind-the-scenes photos  I think that editorial photo and the cover is too airbrushed though

1. How did it feel when you saw the Vogue cover and realised that you were living every model's dream?
mrs_gayle

Alice: I couldn’t believe it! In fact I still can’t believe it. No matter how many times I see the cover, I’m still digesting the fact that it’s me peering out of it.

2. How has your life changed since becoming Australia's Next Top Model?
c o o p e r

Alice: I’m spending more time in Sydney. That’s the most obvious change.

3. Do you still keep in contact with any of the girls or judges from the show?
elin

Alice: I see Jordan and Steph at castings. It’s difficult to see the other girls as everyone lives in different states of Australia.

4. What was it like meeting and working with Kirstie Clements, and who in the industry has given you the best advice so far?
elin

Alice: It was surreal to work with Kirstie but amazing as well. Kirstie brings a great intelligence to fashion. I can’t name an individual who has given The Best Advice So Far, but my agency Priscilla’s has been very supportive and given me helpful advice and the crew I worked with on the Vogue shoot gave me some invaluable tips.

5. If you can pick one high-end brand to represent, which one would it be and why?
Nostalgia

Alice: Lanvin is my favourite. I can’t describe why – I just love Lanvin!

6. Have you ever thought about going into other parts of fashion, like designing, photography or styling? You seem to be such a creative person.
cheekypop88

Alice: I like the idea of designing or styling but I don’t know how good I’d be at it in reality.

7. Will we be seeing you on the international runways sometime soon?
guccimel

Alice: Time will tell – I guess it depends on your definition of soon!

8. Do you think the show portrayed you well? Are there any moments you wish the camera had/had not captured?
c o o p e r

Alice: I haven’t thought about the way I was portrayed too much. The Show is over, I haven’t dwelled on people’s opinions etc. I have no regrets about what was captured or not. Although my one wish would have been to show a clock to capture the moments of breakdown between 2am-6am – nobody was their happiest at these hours. The public may have been more sympathetic knowing this.

9. You have a unique sense of style - what motivates or guides your fashion choices?
tlc76

Alice: Magazines, movies, my friends and music motivate my fashion choices. Not to mention everyday life passing me by – this has influence.

10. What is something new that you've learnt about yourself since your journey on ANTM and beyond?
tlc76

Alice: To be myself and not to take things so personally.

How lovely! Great to see that the flame red color has died down...I still much perfer her strawberry-blonde color, but this darker shade is lovely as well! I really like how poised and well spoken she seems to be in her interview. Not to mention that this pause in momentum is what she needs for her career to focus from reality television towards actual modeling. Brilliant move on Pricilla's part.

^^WOW! That is a pristine cover so say the very least. I perfer her looking more quirky and editorial, but there's no denying just how classic and beautiful she looks.

I quite agree that the theme of the shoot wasn't the best pick for Alice. I expected something more natural and fairy!

Ah she has the best style :)

I bought Vogue today..her editorial is so over-airbrushed  but it's still quite beautiful

I'm sorry but the COVER IS A COPY of gemma ward's picture featured in Vogue about Top models. it seems like theyre trying to hard just to make her seem like the next top model. see the resemblance?

That's the picture i immediately thought of when i saw the cover too :)

That is sooo true! I thought the cover looked familiar! Typical Aus Vogue always copying.....They really are pushing Alice i mean Catherine McNiel hasn't even had a Aus Vogue cover yet. Also Alice looks like a middle age woman too me :ninja:

she seems liek a really sweet girl, but i just hate how aus vogue is SO UNORIGINAL. and i think catherine should have already gotten a vogue cover too. SHES AMAZING. me = love catherine secretly hehe
