Alice back in a whirl


MELBOURNE'S Alice Burdeu is back in Melbourne after a hugely successful year overseas.

The former winner of Australia's Next Top Model returned from Paris earlier this month after a long stint.

The Brunswick local is back in town for three weeks, where she will shoot yet another cover for Australian Vogue and do some work with Myer before flying across the world again for work in London.

Burdeu has had a big year, working in New York, Paris, Milan and London, capped off by an ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana.

She will be back in Paris early next year for its Spring/Summer haute couture fashion week and has already signed on to some big names including Christian Lacroix and Collette Dinnigan.

Good for Alice. Nice to know KC still likes Alice and pushes her. I think next season will be better for Alice, her look is more suited for A/W than S/S. I wish they will stop addressing her as The former winner of Australia's Next Top Model because she's making a career out of herself now, and it'll be better for her career to not be associated too much with AusNTM (even though AusNTM is not as bad as ANTM).
