i was reading the ausntm livejournal page....
and people were commenting on alice's legs...about how they look big, as the angle is really unflattering in the ad...
does anybody find the ad unflattering...
coz i think she looks beautiful!

And her legs look bigger in comparison to the rest of her body because they're closer to the camera. That's it.
It's just a not-so-good angle.

Wow I just so hope that we can get 10% confirmation that it's her but it certainly looks more and more likely! Great campagin anyway, think it's very beautiful, have used her hair to great effect and just really hope it's ALice, she deserves to get some more campaign work!

I don't find it unflattering at all. Honestly, those people just need to stop living in Vogue Paris and FTV, that's all . After all the criticism Alice B got when she was in AustNM she took it to heart, produced such great results, and then having this sort of misguided feedback...hopefully no one working closely with her is feeding her any similar nonsense.

Clearly the Bluemarine and Celine folks have no problem with it!

Now, rumours are floating about that Alice is in the Blumarine ads floating about. I will have confirmation on this shortly and will post it here, though it certainly looks like her, right down to the model on her leg and her nose.

We should send him an invite for tFs! His posts always crack me up.
I'm really happy we're finally going to get confirmation.
Oh and, I'm really excited for the upcoming fashion weeks. I think Alice is finally going to breakthrough. She fits the collections really well and with the new haircolor and the new booker she's set. I have faith!

I can confirm that it is Alice in the Blumarine cruise campaign. I spoke to Neal Hamil last night, and it is 100% Alice Burdeu. Also, confirmation that she was in Milan for SS09, but had a terrible week there due to both personal reasons and exacerbated by professional outcomes.

As to haute couture, Alice has been optioned for at least a couple of shows each day, and is pretty much confirmed for two of them, one on each of the first two days. Colette Dinnigan is not a guest member this year and nor will she likely be anytime soon. There are plans for an off-schedule presentation, but I do not think that will go through, since the lack of publicity is hurting them right now. Alice would play a part in it if it were the case.

I'll be in Paris from January 5, so I suspect that I will run into her at some point. Here's hoping she's looking good!

Oh my god! Is the schedule for the haute couture shows already out? This is so great!

I'm delighted for her, she's really working those ads, she deserves the work
