I guess the editorial is intended as an homage to the Helmut Newton 'type' of woman? Which, recalling his more famous photos, brings to mind even more pressing questions: Why is she wearing a saddle? Why's she naked in a public park?

This editorial is pure gold! Eugenia proves again that she is the best model ever (for me). The only minus is that the ed is too short.

I don't know what you guys are talking about (full disclosure: i have only read the frist two pages of this thread) but this cover is genious. It couldnt have come out any better. A bewigged, naked, heavily lipsticked Britney Spears, with a look of desperation on her face, writhing on the floor, reaching toward the camera lens,toward the reader, apparently drifting away from your attentiona and your field of vision. It just illustrates Britney's current condition, she has nothing now, and she wants to hold on to xoemthing, she wants fame again I guess, but she's just drifting away, her wig a reminder of her bad decisions (shaving her hair, etc.) And there's no interview, she doesnt say anything, she sabotages her own chances of telling her own story.

Face it, Allure is just a fashion magazine that focuses on makeup and beautyproducts, it's not the New Yorker or Public Affairs or whatever. It doesnt have to put illustrious citizens on its covers, just faces that will sell. And Britney sells.

The cover with Britney is just nasty..When i saw it on the stands I was like wth .. Last month with Catherine Zeta-Jones was much better..I don't know why would anyone want Britney on their cover..
