a short hair cut simply doesn't flatter her facial features. the strawberry blonde per se wouldn't look that bad, I suppose, as it matches pale skin (she should've bleached her eyebrows too,though).

NB.:could somebody tell me what a rat's nest(?) looks like/ how you fix it onto your hair? I've never seen such a hair piece, I always thought it was all natural hair combined with hectolitres of hairspray

^ She uses a fake beehive tuft of hair that she fastens w/ bobby pins and a hair net.
I think she usually covers it with some of her real hair and that's why it looks all real.

there is a ford models podcast all about "how to create an Amy Winehouse."you should look for it, it is really good
I got a hairpiece, wrapped it around and pinned it in place to itself and the put it high up on my head and pinned it in with loads of hair pins. Then take a section from the front and put it over the hairpiece so you cant tell it is fake, EASY!!!

Like most of us, Amy Winehouse appears to have started the year with the best intentions.
Sporting new short bleached blonde hair and dressed in trademark ballet slippers, Winehouse looked healthier than usual as she indulged in some retail therapy.
The singer spent the day shopping, purchasing new fitness equipment and make-up, taking the time to pose for pictures with fans along the way.

Amy said: "I go to the gym, I drink a lot of water and I eat right."

The photos of her in the store are pretty good...I'm still trying to get used to the hair. But change is something that can end up being something very special in her case. I can't knock it,I just hopes she does well at the Grammys.

To me its says 'I care and/or I know people are watching maybe I should do something that could be nice for me'. Its not like she's just totally like 'whatever or I don't care' about my looks/image I think thats an improvement for her.
