Angelina Jolie

actually a lot of times, even when both parents are really really pretty and good looking, the child can turn out to be not so... its all luck. some really gorgeous people have not so good looking parents.

and shiloh is a horrible name. not as bad as apple but i am so sick of 'interesting' or 'unique' names. there's no need to be overdramatic and unnecessary. i would understand if angelina and bradd are jewish even but they're so far from it... it's all so silly. i'm going to name my kid michael or alexandra depending on their gender and hopefully they'll grow up to be normal people and won't have disorders because they're not called Skye or Violette or Banana.

and yes, shiloh is a dog's name. just like how apple is a fruit.

Congratulation to them. That kid won a genetic lottery!
As for her name i dont think its anyones buisness but theirs so i find comments like eternitygodess over stupid and primitive!!!

You are so right!! A colleague of mine told me his friend's mom was a former Miss World (a beauty queen), but she turned out pretty average :innocent:

hello ?
just because they are both hot does NOT mean that girl is going to be so.
I feel sorry for her already. To live with a pressure to have to be so overly beautiful and flawless must be a torture.

Shiloh is not exclusively a dog's name. Some people name their dogs Arthur or Henry, and people still use those names...:)

Anyways, atleast her daughter's name isn't Stop World Hunger or something. That or Peach would have been horrible. :P

hahaha...I was just explaining to my European boyfriend that Shiloh is usually a dog name in the States.

It's a typical California "cool" name though. I know people out there named Iris, Sky, Ocean Miracle...Shiloh is tame compared to those!

If Apple weren't a fruit, I think it would be cute...
I don't know, i like Shiloh, the same with Apple, i think we shouldn't go for what does it mean, i thin k we should just see the name. The thing is that Shiloh must be a gorgeous girl...
And yes, sometimes the parents are beautiful and the babies horrible, I hope she only looks like them...

According to :In Touch:
- Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt is described as "a beautiful baby - she has brown hair like Angelina, and Brad's nose," says an insider.
- The baby was born at the Cottage Hospital in Swakopmund, Namibia
- Brad was with Angelina's brother, James Haven, waiting anxiously in the hallway, says the insider.
- Angelina is described as doing "very well."
- Their families are thrilled. "He loves children - he's very good with them," Brad's grandmother Betty Russell tells In Touch.
- "We just want them to relax and enjoy the whole thing," Brad's brother, Doug Pitt told In Touch. "I just want him to be able to enjoy the experience as much as possible without too much pressure. It's going to be great for them."
- Samuel Nuuyoma, governor of the Erongo region of Namibia, issued a statement saying, "I wish Angelina and Brad good luck and a healthy life with their beautiful daughter... Just like Angelina, this precious Namibian-born baby will be our ambassador."

My family is buried at Shiloh Cemetary and I was always told it meant place of rest.

thats not always true. I have two nieces and a nephew who looked like their father's immediately after birth.

I am very interested to see how this child is going to look. Everybody is saying, 'with genes like that she has to be gorgeous' but with most attractive couples I know, their children are not that great looking.

Don't know if it was already posted but I found these adorable pics of Madoox and Angelina

No kidding. Just look at Demi Moore and Bruce Willis's daughters.

The best mix is two slight-above average parents. They produce the most beautiful children. Or at least from my observations they do.

Well attractive people when born are sort of a fluke of nature. It's difficult to get a good combination. Just because both the parents might be good looking, doesn't insure the child will necessarily inherit their parent's looks. You have to take in the rest of the family into account. In fact, I generally notice the opposite; if the parents are good looking the child won't be on the same caliber, like say Elizabeth Taylor's children.

beauty

Beautiful people can have not so beautiful siblings. And their parents can be unremarkable as well. It's usually just one per family I've noticed. It's a freak of nature of having just the right combination of taking from your mother and father. Angie has perfectly feminine features. Brad has perfectly masculine features. The kid will take from both parents, but I'd imagine you don't want a daughter to have Brad's masculine nose, or a boy with Angie's voluptious lips and eyes. This is of course, conjecture, without knowing what hormones will do to those features.

It's like producing a gay kid. It's hard to know the formula.
