Rumor has it she wants an Oscar for Mighty Heart...that's why she's still promoting the film. She certainly deserves it! But I have not been that happy with things I have been reading about Marianne Pearl lately...

sorry luxx but that NY post article doesnt seem like a very reliable source....the minute they start writing "our source says..." and "another source said.." i just tune out...

i also dont think angelina is the type to be promoting a movie like a mighty heart because she wants an oscar...
i think she believes in this film, believes in its message, and probably feels an obligation or at the very least has a strong desire to support mariane, who is a good friend of hers, and keep the awareness about the movie out there...

I'm sure she believes in it...but there are still two sides to Angelina...the movie star and the humanitarian. She plays both roles well and I'm a fan, but I know her and Brad play the fame game very smartly. This is just my opinion, of course. But I think she is defintiely keeping up visibility about the film because it came out in summer and she still wants to remind people that it was critically acclaimed and she is worth an Oscar nod...
