That was a really bad show...looked more like an art school project gone wrong. Not Ann's fault. Give her the bonus of the top makeup/hair/styling/clothes and she could look smashing without a doubt. The slouch probably has more to do with the fact that she feels taller even than the other models. Once she can get used to that and embrace it she will shine)

Ahh I thought this too, someone on RTVGames pointed out, actually it's the makeup - only the bottom lip is painted, the top lip has no lipstick on, which makes her lips look smaller. Unfortunate makeup really.

^ Everything about that show was unfortunate. Dont know why IMG approved it? I could see them thinking this would be a good way for her to get some experience but in the age of technology wouldnt it seem obvious that the pics would show up everywhere? There is no such thing as a 'soft launch' anymore. Better to keep her under wraps till she can explode out of the gate, no?

^I have doubts that she even has what it takes to explode. So far she seems like just another disappointing ANTM winner.

^ I think she has the drive and determination to succeed but she needs careful management to get there and so far its been hard to tell if IMG is really behind her or just fulfilling their contractual obligation. Time will tell.

Yeah I hope IMG isn't just stringing her along. When she was asked if she has any work lined up she said no but she hasn't talked a lot with IMG about doing different things, however on the other hand Jane has only signed with IMG recently walked 5 shows, done 2-3 different tests, gilt Catalogue is shooting for Elle Mexico. Maybe IMG really is waiting for her VI stuff to surface but I'm feeling doubtful now.

I really don't mean to be rude or negative, because she's obviously a really smart and talented girl, and seems like a great person, but it's just not happening for her.
She just doesn't have what it takes, and her win was fueled by the anti-bullying propaganda going on in the US at the moment.

Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but I don't see anything that could work in her favor.
IMG invested in one test shoot that really looks below-average, she wasn't in the show package, yet she did the castings and she booked only one (unimportant) show, and the Vogue outtakes are not promising.
I'm sure the photos will turn out fine after all the editing and airbrushing, but I can't believe anyone would see her as the next big anything.

IMG and Vogue couldn't care less if she makes it or not, because all they have to do is fulfill the contractual obligation.
Sorry to say that, but that's the harsh reality.I really like her persona, but not even sure if she's model material.

Yup, you're absolutely right. Many fans see things through rose-colored glasses and may be a bit too eager for a sensationalist story here. I think her range of application as a model confines to showroom/low-key catalogue work. There's definitely no potential for a print and runway success.

I think time will tell. She just won the show in like December. She needs more development and coaching. I don't think many people were expecting an instant trajectory to the top. Especially not before her Italian Vogue spreads dropped.
She's got obvious factors working against her but she has a look and some will like it and some won't. There's definite potential waiting to be tapped into here.
