I noticed she's mentioned in the "attention whores" thread. I go back and forth about that. I think she's very flamboyant, but I think fashion is SUPPOSED to be that. As well as edgy, risk-taking, unconventional.
Certainly, I don't expect everyone within the fashion industry to dress loudly, but I think when you have access to lux brands, and to haute couture, you should let your imagination go and treat clothing and style as an art (which it is). I think Anna does that. (And she owns her hot mess moments. She looks awful, but at least she has fun with it.)
While I do have problems with Anna (as mishahoi rightly pointed out, she doesn't seem to care about her Asian consumers or their culture), I do think she is genuine when she says she cares about making fashion understandable/accessible to the regular person.
