Apple or PC?

I was thinking about changing my pc for a mac...but someone told me that webcams don't work on msn with a mac..is it true?

You can ask the techies at apple.com about using your webcam with MSN. They will need to know the manufacturer/make of your webcam. I use mac's Safari software for all my web work, and it functions seamlessly.

Webcams seem to be a mess with Macs. I bought an iSight for mine, but I can only use it talk to other people with Macs! Which is one (1) person. And $150, too!

I just got a Macbook Pro, loving it.

I find I still use my PC more though, mainly because I'm more used to it and all my files are still here.

Macs are so much prettier and smoother.

Macs are pretty and easier for beginners to use, and are also better with images. PCs are better with just about everything else from my experience (I've used both) and have a ton more software and games and are compadible with just about everything.

I second this. Both my brother and mom have a Macbook, so I've had a bit of experience with them. They're incredibly easy to use and set up, but they lack many of the features a PC has. The one thing I really enjoy about them is the Photo Booth feature, but otherwise I'm PC for life.

I don't use a Mac or Windows. I use Linux, and I'm able to play any program. It's awesome.

The only problem, is that I'm constantly tweaking things and programming and recompiling things. It's definently not for beginners.

Mac's are evil. I hate proprietary stuff and Apple's the most proprietary you can get.

Get I Linux box. It's much cheaper, and works faster than a Mac.

PC! Macs f'ing infuriate me. My brother's always freezes and does things like not open Safari at all no matter how long I wait since I clicked, and then the help section is emptier than Paris's head. And I couldn't get on the internet. And the layout is ridiculous. I almost got one because they were cute, but then I actually used it, and it's not worth it. Vaios are cute too, and I'm getting one of those.

I use a PC at home and a Mac at work... I'm fine with either now.. but I definitely used to be Anti-mac.
