iPod Video

^^ Thanks for the replies. I figured they wouldn't replace it or fix it for free. bleh. One time my friend when into the ipod store crying her eyes out and saying someone stole her ipod and one of the guys gave it to her for free and she has the ipod for proof! Meh, maybe I can knock on Steve Jobs door and ask for one. He lives less than a mile away. haha.

^^ okay. she is lucky times five hundred. i wish i had thought to try that approach. hah.

I got one today, and I'm really stupid, so could someone tell me what file the video has to be so I can put one on my ipod? :ninja:

Is it MP4? or M4V? ...or...?

It's MP4. You can easily convert file formats using iSquint :flower:

Thanks everyone  typical the videos I want to upload are FLV :hardhead:
None of these converters are working either :judge:

I just got a new laptop, and am wondering what will happen when I plug my ipod into it. I know all of the music will be cleared (seeing as none of the files are on the ipod), but is there anything i need to install on the new laptop in order for the ipod to work properly in the future?

^ I once used copypod to upload songs from the ipod to the computer :flower:

Does anybody have some tips on how to conserve the battery power for a longer period? I use my iPod video a lot and usually it only lasts for less than 24 hours, when it's claimed that it should last around 36 hours. I've tried turning off the backlight and everything but it's still not working!

So any help? :flower:

Apple announced today a 32 gb iPod Touch!

That was fast. Anyone think a 32 gb IT is worth 499 + tax? I've had a 20 gb iPod classic for years and was just about to buy the 16 gb before I saw this. Any thoughts? Possible time frame for price drop?

^Lulz, welcome to the future! This thread is 3 years old right? Or older?
