Apple or PC?

Mac, mac all the way, I would say. They are not hard to use at all. I have no problems switching. And now with Tiger, geez, how can I ever live without the Dashboard! :)

I'm a PC lady. Sony Vaio...its so cool. Fast...has the software that I need. I grew up on Apple....but PC reigns supreme in my life. :D

mac..

too bad i need a pc for school..
they SUCK!..
well at least mine does.. it hates me.. never does what i want it to do..
once i'm done with school i'm throwing it outta the window!.. :innocent:

MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC!!!!!!! ...i luv widgets!!!

mac powerbook g4, i had to get one for school and now that i've had for a while and gotten used to its great, I don't see myslef every going back to pcs.

PC... i'm completely apple illiterate, but i quite like the look of apples.

PC, and not sure whether to buy a mac or pc laptop...

ThisHollywoodLfe I had to get an ibook g4 for school!! i don't like it much because I prefer powerbooks (i use my dads when im home), i agree...i've never had a pc lol so i certainly can't imagine going back to them:lol:

i have a pc, i want an apple though, but i would love one which has the windows software on it though because im not sure i could get use to the appl software..

imo opinion apples look ncer but ive only ever been on pc's never tried to use an apple mac

I've only every used a PC but one of my friends uses a Mac and says it's simpler :)

I use both, mac at home, pc/laptop at work.

+ for mac, design, more reliable, next to none viruses
+ for pc, most specialized software is written for windows

macs are more expensive in general, but there are tricks for getting them cheaper (10% student discount or buying refurbished with the same warranty). My refurbished G4 cost cheaper than a comparably equipped Dell ^_^ .

I think if you just need a basic computer (internet, email, writing papers, managing photos) - mac is the way to go.

I have a G5 and an ibook.

i learned on a mac in gradeschool.
had a pc throughout high school and first 2 years of college.
then i switched when 10.2 came out.

never going back.

Just bought my iBook G4 --- oh, i'm in love in a big way. I hop on wireless networks everywhere I go, and finally have a computer I can rustle through TFS with at my leisure. It's good to be back.

Plus, this whole Tiger business? Outstanding. Widgets? Love 'em. Installing an application? You drag and drop. Uninstalling? Drag to trash. This still blows me mind. <g>

I use both. The Mac is in general more pleasant to use. Unfortunately, you pay dearly both for hardware and software, although I agree with faust that the refurbished Mac is a good option for cost cutting.
