Apple's iPhone

Funny guessgirl as I am going to list my iPhone too. A rep at ATT suggested I have it unlocked as it will go for more $$.... also baring in mind that ATT employees cannot purchase the 3G iPhone and the no longer have the ability to purchase the original. I'm thinking I will list mine for $175 perhaps a BIN $250 as the new 3G is going for $199-$299 with a contract obligation.

For idea about unlocking it, I'll see if I can get my bf do it. I have a question about an apple protection plan I purchased with the phone which extends the warranty to 2 years instead of one - is it attached to the phone or my att acct? does anyone know? I want to know if i can sell that along with my phone.

if you are going to jailbreak it
make sure to use to the dev team's pwnage tool.

follow that link.

$250 sound reasonable.
especially if you unlock it.
the new ones are around the same price only if you sign a two year contract. otherwise, i'm pretty sure they are about $500

about extended warranties.
when my friend used to work at apple,
i bought a macbook through him to get the discount
and i went ahead and added the 2 year extended warranty.
of course everything was under his name,
so recently i had to take to get a new HDD and they verified the warranty through the laptops serial number and upated all the info under my name. i said i bought it from him...so yeah.

Now when the iPhone can only be purchased with a contract signed on the spot the old one is going to be very sought after, especially since it's just as good as the new one if you're not using 3G.

Picked up my new 3G/White 16G iPhone yesterday..I have synced it with my Gen1 iPhone and after a full day of use....

LOVE IT! It is noticeably faster, email downloads on the spot, the new pin point map search is fantastic.

Thumbs up Apple... you have successfully caused me (well, my husband) to drop another $300+ only a short 9 months after I (again, my husband) dropped $400 for the Gen1 iPhone... so what next? A 50G for $99 in 8 months? I'm in (again, my husband):woot::rofl:

has anyone had any issues with their white iPhone 3G developing hairline cracks in the plastic casing? there's a big thread over at MacRumors with lots of people complaining about cracks (mainly in the white model, but some owners of black iPhones claim to see them too). i was going to get a white iPhone in the next few days but now i'm not so sure. :(

I'm in love with the new iphone 3G! I just got it today and have not stopped playing with it... In fact, I'm typing this post on the iphone right now.

So.. My parents are going to get me the iPhone for Christmas and was just wondering if it is the right choice?

Is in Internet easy to use? and is TFS easy to move around on it? :innocent:
thanks in advance

I love surfing the web with the iphone! It's quite easy to use really

I had the original iPhone and now I have the 2nd generation. Honestly I preferred the original one-it was much smoother. The safari browser is very easy. The whole phone is very easy to use.
