It's not out yet. Haven't heard any word on it at all. Probably early next month.

yep. it's also being discussed in "vogue homme international'' thread.

it is the period of year where the fact that Bulgaria is still outside western civilisation takes measure of fever..paranoic depression...

it is profitable to being hint which of magazines is better -Vogue homme international or Arena Homme +...
since Arena + 1998/9 to ARENA 2003/4 I haven't miss the fall/winter issues...but I am afraid my campaign "The west world is saving Me " should be so successful,a fortiori I soupcon I HAD EXHAUSTED ALL THE VIADUCTS OF BONNUM ,THE SOURCES OF INDULGENCE ,ETC..

MY VERY HIDDEN EXPECTATION IS "BETTER IF THEY,THE LAST ISSUES OF VOGUE h .INT & ARENA H + SHOULD BE FAIL,FIASCO FOR ME ,BECAUSE NOT TO SUFFER !
A MAGICIAN BEHAVIOUR THAT COULDN'T BE COMPREHENSIVE FOR THE PEOPLE DWELLING OUT/WEST/SIDE BALKANS

It gets later and later every year. I'm not sure it's worth the wait now though. I read in i-d that it get called arena homo plus or something! It has become more and more homo-erotic that's for sure. I just wish there could be a highbrow fashion mag for men that didn't have to be like that. I know that there are loads of fashion concious men who would - and good for them - but I don't really want to see young men in their underwear page after page after page. I'd rather just see the clothes and read the articles. In fact, Arena itself, in teh eighties and early nineties was exactly the mag I'm talking about, it was brilliant. Now it's just another lad mag, unreadable and unbuyable. Sad actually.

Frankly, I just want to see an ad for my favorite store in it  .

Speaking of men's magazines that might have hope. I just got a free issue of a magazine called Vitals. It is a result of Details magazine spinning off its fashion/shopping section into a separate publication. And guess what, it's READABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First, it's totally not homo-erotic, second - it's style conscious (unlike GQ), third - it doesn't have half naked b-stars with fake boobs on every other page (as a matter of fact it has none at all). With bits on Menichetti, Haute, Galliano, McQueen, CP Company, a big article on who is who on Saville Row, and a hilarious (probably made up, but entertaining) piece on how a guy dressed up on purpose into the most "out there" looks by CDG, Galliano and Moschino and hung out around Wall street noting people's reactions. Last, but not least, there was an offer to subscribe to the magazine for FREE. Maybe there is hope after all.

As far as European mags, I get all the men's coverage I need from i-D editorials. Also, in the US, Surface magazine (as rarely as they do) have very good men's editorials. The "Homme Base" issue of Surface was the best issue by far in the last year.

The fashion sections in Details are actually Ok, but the rest is rubbish. i-D is all that there is in the UK. Numero Homme is OK. Not entirely free from homo-eroticism though!

just i-D magazine
tank,and austrian A-HEAD

I am interested to hear your oppinion about UPstreet if the mag is alive

Never heard of UPstreet. Details magazine in itself is not worth looking it, but that supplement, Vitals, was a pleasant surprise.

UPstreet is pretty bad, in my opinion. Looks and feels kinda cheap.
