avaf's art work is very very much in demand, so the prices are not at all out of line, especially when considered in light of LV's success with the Murakami line.

i am a huge fan of avaf. but i can't say that these are particularly emotive applications for his art.

yes, avaf is a good graphic artist.

yes, le sportsac continues to look less staid from its collaborations.

yes, this issue is timely because psychedlia and 60's nostalgia are so relevant in the art world right now

however, without the light and sound aspects of avaf's experiential installations, i don't find this type of sensory overload palatable at all.

maybe if it came with a strobe light and ipod compartment?

i like the art part, but the silver metalic weather balloon part is a bit of a turn off. i could see some cool ads though with fake eyelashes and black lights and neon make-up! cant wait to see how they advertise this one.

Ay caramba! it's true, avaf involves the whole sensory experience. the bags are a cute idea, though.

cute print, but the foil and patent part does not showcase his artwork well.

Lesportsac just doesn't wow me much... I like the prints.. but I'd much rather see them in a piece of artwork than on these bags.

Interesting looking.

I have to agree..........as prints that art would be great...........but on the bag it's ................ I don't know.

RE: the price point............is that similar in price to the L.A.M.B. items???

i think the bags are OK. and the pricepoints ARE high, but the lamb for lesportsac bags sell for many times over retail now. maybe these will as well.

lesportsac is coming out with a "lesportsac for the OC" Line in september.

I saw a LeSportSac Tikomoto line............it's was very...........uhm "Japanime" like.

are you serious??

yep, read about it in wwd. im surprised as they are killing off a major character on the OC, one that would ordinarily carry around the bags.
