^good idea:woot: ahhahahahaha

I'm just going to turn the flash off and the sound off...and pretend I'm fiddling around with my camera. I bring my camera everywhere anyway!

Yeah I'm going to pretend to be a tourist - which won't be very hard up here lol :p

Interesting effect on those pics with the light and dark! The guy looks like he should be at a gig

Taken from 2thread.com. Not the most adventurous I'll admit, but still...I like it ;)

1.- Adrianna wears:
Lee Jeans, Bonds singlet, H & M Cardi, home made scarf, bag and sunnies fresh from Surry Hills markets

2.-Yvette wears:
Milk and Honey Skirt, Route 66 stockings, Dangerfield handbag, Power puff girls watch. Cardi, boots and top from Felt .

YaY ! An Australian Style thread =) hehe
GO AUSTRALIA =P
I will go out and take some photos of street style when i can .. i no i would be flattered if someone came up and complimented me on my outfit + wanted a photo !
I am in Geelong , Just out of Melbourne, Majority have awesome style here .. but like every city your gunna have your not-so-goods hehe x

I'm immigrating to Melbourne in a matter of weeks. I'm picking up a decent digitl camara along the way and will resolve myself to nurturing this thread into the status it deserves. Oh yes... :mowhawk: :ninja:

Fashion Puss: Awesome, I'll be looking out for your pictures!

Speaking of Melbourne, I was there a few months back. Though I stayed mainly in the city, I have to say the street style in Melbourne is arguably better than in Sydney, even if most Sydneysiders would kill me for saying that! :innocent:
But I can't help but feel that the majority of Australians are as Kimkhuu said very trendy. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places...

Whos the third guy from post #2? A random? Good Looking and good street taste.

Taken from 2thread.com

i have to say, i moved here 3 years ago from tropical singapore and after initially struggling with deciding how to look chic and still be warm, i have come to embrace the aussie style of layering with bright colours. and melbourne's love of black and the rampant sincere boho style on the streets.

true kate moss boho is how i would describe what i see as the melbournian style. i <3. it is unfortunate that it is being watered down with too many who dress straight out of the sportsgirl catalogues with no sense of stye of their own. these girls i call the sienna faux-hos.

in all, i love the freedom i get dressing up here. its so easy to be oneself.

 That's hilarious - but so true!

Up here EVERYONE is doing boho. Boho schmo-ho.... I'm so sick of it!

This thread has gone a bit dead...
Anyway, these are some photos from the Melbourne Cup (not exactly street style but close enough)...Taken from ninemsn.com.au

That shirt that yellow-shoe-girl is wearing in post #50... WHERE IS IT FROM? It's so familiar! Anyone know?

-G.

This is such a good idea for a thread. I'm staying in Perth at the moment and the look is very laid back. I have to agree with something said earlier in the thread about the girls all looking the same. If anyone has seen the Supre ads that is the look that is copied over and over by the (generally) younger girls here.

Yeh, I think we need to take more photos on the 'street' otherwise, what's the point of calling street style??!!

When my uni exams are over (next Friday), I shall be doing some retail therapy :D and will try to snap some pics of people on the street.
