stephanie is one of the best poseurs that i've ever seen. she's always so dynamic. her curves are out of this world and Alaia's designs are perfect for women like her, Naomi and Karolina (all of which have worn his creations over and over and over again throughout their careers and to public events).

he's a legend, for sure. and well-deserved.

I'm not too sure about les soldes, but there's the stock store (rue de la verrerie) connected to the main store (rue de? moussy) that sells most of the stuff at 50-60% off.
Although I did see a pair of Alaia shoes at Reflect in Amsterdam for 50% off that was full price at the main store..

Double breasted with high square neckline, front and back panel narrowing to hem, under piece of long sleeves cut in one with side panel, long sleeves and side panels decorated with grommets, pockets at hip level from side front to side back, interior of sleeve hem and seams covered in one inch band of silver leather, size 10, labeled: Alaia.
Excellent condition.
This coat is a sister to the revolutionary black leather tunic that was picked up by the press in 1981 and launched Alaia internationally.

Of black silk chiffon, with gladatorial references, above the knee length with asymmetrical hem higher at slit left side front with snap closure, hem and sides of slit trimmed with four rows of silver grommets, one inch wide leather belt studded with two rows of same, size 8, labeled: Alaia/Paris.
Very good condition, one small tear in chiffon.
