He presents one for every season or so as far as I know (the last one was A/W 09 : http://www.fashionologie.com/2921572 ) but it's very private.The French 'Elle' features some of his new stuff (i-D too) every year, so last month on 'Elle' Laetitia Casta was wearing some of his clothes as well as Penelope Cruz in another issue ,Jourdan Dunn was wearing Alaia in i-D last year, and this month Vogue Paris has one or two pages featuring his clothes.

^^I wish his collection's were at least photo documented on sites like style.com, usually only couple of pictures get released.

Me too.

However,I feel grateful about the fact that he gets some press coverage, and that I get to see his clothes in some shops here (in Paris).I once went to his building/main shop but felt too embarrassed to get in.

So gorgeous. If I ever have the money one day, I'm definitely investing in Alaia. I like how he does his own thing and doesn't get all caught up in this 80s crapola going on right now. I think that's what makes him so classic -- he does his stuff, but he's not so trendy that his pieces can be dated to one season/collection.

I love his shoes! I visited a boutique in Nice that sold his shoes, and all I could do was to stare at the gorgeous snakeskin sandals with shells! The architecture of the shoes was just perfect, and the shape of the stiletto heels was beyond amazing! Also, there is this certain "ugliness" and retro-feel in his shoes that I enjoy, don't know how to explain better

We should post more pics of ALAÏA shoes. Does he design them as well, or is there some specialist doing that?
