I like alot of it....but the stuff they sell to the public looks nothing like that, it's all cheap.

There are a couple of pieces that seem as though they had potential, but were developed into nastiness. so close and yet so far.

My opinion is if mostly Af/Americans buy the line--it's automatically called 'ghetto'. At least thats how the term is used on this board.

oh I see well I guess I was struck dumb because I am from brasil and what I see as ghetto there is not what I see as ghetto in north america. it is still odd to me but thank you for enlightening me. i have read the term some times on here but didn't understand why people say that. thanks again

Sorry Oria- I should apologize. My answer was sarcastic actually. There can be many other terms used to describe clothes directed at an Urban market- but some people really like to throw out the word 'ghetto'- whether it applies to the situation or not.

I see nothing ghetto about it. People on here think Kimora Lee is ghetto- so automatically that applies to her line I assume.

I really did not mean to cause this issue i am often clueless to american slang so i do ask rather than take on the assumption. so i do not think you were being offensive or the other person who i asked the question to. maybe just different views is all. no trouble from me i still like one of the dresses from her collection haha. that does not change.

and this is a global community guys, so..
some terms may be used in ways that can be taken as 'politically incorrect'
from people that mean no 'evil'
