These ads plunge the clothes into complete boredom. They were so interesting on the runway. I mean I know the clothes would be difficult to translate on paper but anything is better than this!

^ I know, but I have thought that the Balenciaga clothes are especially tricky to express in print ads as impressively as they are in real life/on the runway. I liked the S/S ads and this doesn't look that bad either to me, though..

Maybe they can use a white historical architecture as the background, have the contrast of the clothes. Or a black one...for those coulorfulk clothes...maybe. Go back to Simple and pop up with the clothes

It's incredible. I'm looking at them in the thumbnails and thinking one is superior to the other, but when you see them fully, none of them are superior - they are all equally good.
Freja Beha Erichsen looks greats, as does the portrait girl in the blue, who is she?

Karen, Stella & Freja look superb. Is Miranda here, I don't see her anywhere but I cannot be sure with the group pics being smaller.

I don't want to sound too critical but this is terribly underwhelming for such a terrific collection. I was hoping they'd shoot the campaign in a way that resonates with the resourcefulness of the clothes, but clearly that's not the case.
The setting looks awfully low-budget, not that that's a bad thing of course. The background does offer some pretty good contrast, especially for the shoes.
Is it meant to resemble Venus? Random thought LOL
