And I KNOW the setting is supposed to be some kind of witty meta commentary on backstage and social media culture and some twink is gonna scream at me that I just don't get it, Demna is a genius, but this really is so lazy. it's the sign that the industry treat their customers as if they're total idiots. And I tend to think they're correct.

I consider Demna talented, I have no problem telling you my favorite collections by him, and the impact he had with Vetements is undeniable.

But Balenciaga has been treating their customers since several collections as if they were idiots. And you know what? Sales are plumetting.
So maybe they are not such idiots.
