Balmain Jeweled Sandal Stilettos Spring/Summer 2009

The Zara ones are going for crazy amounts on ebay. A couple days ago I saw a pair (with several bids) sitting around $300 or so.

There is not enough on the ankle of the zara. I read on a blog that bebe had some but I went to the site and saw nothing.

I just visited bebe.com and saw a preview of their Spring 2009 collection. There I found these:

The style is called "MARIANNA PLATFORM SANDAL" (#140224) and will be available in either black or white (sizes 5-10, only whole sizes) for $169. They aren't available online yet, but probably will hit the shelves in a few days.

Personally, I prefer Bebe's knockoffs b/c they are the closest to the Balmains.

On a side note: Bebe Spring 2009 is a collection full of knockoffs. They also copied Stella McCartney's mesh heels, the multi-buckled Louboutins and LV's Spring 2009 heels. I wrote about it in my blog if you're interested to see more Bebe knockoffs.

i saw a zara pair end for 900+.

the Zara version is just missing those huge as$ rhinestones. nothing a trip to the hobby supply shop can't fix!

My thoughts exactly!!

The bebe ones have the chunk factor that the Zara ones lack, if I were in the market I'd go for the bebe over the Zara...plus it would save me that trip to the hobby store.

jeffrey campbell also has a knockoff of these shoes. however they cost 195$.

If anyone's interested in the bebe knockoffs, they just started selling them in black/white ($169).

i just checked the website again today and the black are sold out! (at least they aren't listed anymore) :(

Size 9 & 10 in the White are only listed.

yeah, I know. The shoes were sold out within a day. Crazy! But bebe might re-stock them again, so I would check the site from time to time.

bebe ones are nice. like them more than zara s. at least they have somewhat of a platform

No one could be cool as real Balmain. Genius Giuseppe Zanotti made it!

I agree. Now if only I could afford and more importantly be well-connected (b/c isn't there a waiting list for them?) enough to purchase the real ones. They are to die for. They'd look so good with both traditional Indian outfits and Western attire.

Wow I went to BeBe to see if they got these Balmain shoes in that were online and there is a WAITING LIST in my Bebe to buy these shoes. WTF. The sales girl told me that they were sold before they even got out on the floor! They are available on ebay of course :(

I finally got my shoes in!! I will try and see if I can post pictures later..
Has anyone else received the BeBe shoes? The studs on mine are a yellowish gold. I've been checking around eBay because I really wanted the Zara ones and I saw that someone has photos of the BeBe ones with silver studs. And there are also loads of straight knock off's on there now as well. If this designer is smart they will do a Target/H&M/TopShot line. They will make even more millions.. I'm calling it Christophe Decarnin/ Zanotti for Target or H&M in the near future!

I think they are from BeBe.. I took that photo from someone's eBay auction. They look a little difference from mine. I believe the seller altered the BeBe version to have silver studs.. I may have to take a trip to the craft store to see if I can get mine looking like that.

Bebe looks so close to Balmain! I wish I have 1500euros and I could buy Balmains!

I don't think they are worth it.. They are super seasonal shoe. By fall they will look dates. That's why I got the BeBe Marianna's. Next to Zara they are the closest.

A girl on American Idol wore them last night to perform! Wow Balmaina has hit!
