Balmain S/S 2012 : Anja Rubik by Inez & Vinoodh

Not that bad.. Unexpectedly  The same technique of photography is going on as used for Arizona's ed in VP Dec./Jan. issue, but I prefer these ads.

I kinda like it, the lighting makes the clothes look flattering and like the vibe:flower:, love that floral dress and it looks really good in print.

A serious contender for Worst SS12 Ad Campaign.

I'm not sure how the people in charge looked at the poses, the facial expression and agreed to use the pictures.

I kind of like it. I think it it is much better than last season. And i kind of like Anja here.
My only problem has to be that this is a copy from Arizona´s ed at VP but, i dont know , i just kind of like it :P:

This really looks like "More Than A Woman" from Vogue Paris` December/January 2011.2012 Issue. How disappointing from I&V.

I found this from guillaume&henry, a review on this ad:

WHAT ELSE CAN BALMAIN PLAY? ROCK AND ROLL, DAVID BOWIE, HILARIOUSLY EXPENSIVE BROKEN JEANS AND THOSE DRESS WHICH GONE 70% OFF AFTER SEASON AND THIS STIFF YET BORING MODEL.

This looks dated and not in a retro cool 70s / return of Bowie kinda way, but more in a 2007, stuck in a rut kinda way. I think that the pants image is OK but I think that I would have liked it even better with different hair, I am not even objecting to the mullet on principle, but I would have like a chignon with a pouf top better. There are other items from the collection that I would have rather seen selected for the campaign than that dress, and :yuk: /  @ that slouched pose.
