richard ashcroft is a genius imo...i listened to urban hymns and forgot how gorgeous it was...also i forgot how fine he is ;) bittersweet symphony was beauitful at live 8..i was nearly crying and i was shocked when he came on....

Urban Hymes. An excellent album... one of my favorites...

I heard Bittersweet S. fro Live 8 last week, and it WAS a beautiful performance. Loved it.

The Verve, for sure, I wish would get back together. As well as Stabbing Westward and Tin Star.

Rage Against the Machine
Fugees
Prince & the Revolution

Sister Soleil... and Jack Off Jill, Scarling just isn't the same.

Smashing Pumpkins although they can never be as good as they used to be...

I want the Pumpkins back too! And Billy did ask for a reunion just recently..actually on the day of his new solo release. And IF their new albulm is not as good as the old Pumpkins at least I can get to see them live and hear the old stuff! I was too young back then...

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

definitely Cream...they only lasted together two years but made some amazing stuff

Elizabeth Fraser and the Cocteau Twins. I'm sorry no one(except Kate Bush) during the eighties made such enigmatic pieces of music as they did.

the velvet underground, so i could see them live. their 60s shows look amazing from what ive seen, to the point that i ache for not being able to go. i remember hearing that they reunited for a festival though and that it wasnt great becasue there was a lot of in-fighting.

I could be wrong, but I believe they still play together. I actually saw them in concert a couple years ago.
