See the Chocolate Statue of Baptiste Giabiconi That Karl Lagerfeld Created

>> Yesterday it was announced Jason Wu is collaborating with Brizo on a line of bathroom faucets, but Karl Lagerfeld still has him beat in the odd designer collaboration arena. As part of his partnership with Magnum Ice Cream, Lagerfeld designed a Paris hotel room — made solely with 10.5 tons of Belgian chocolate — and housing a chocolate statue of Baptiste Giabiconi in his underwear. A few items are missing from this picture; Where are the chocolate tubes of lube and chocolate condoms?

African american Baptiste looks scared.

This is beyond creepy!!! like seriously. I understand caring for someone like they're your own but I think Karl probably has something for Baptiste... ugh!!

^ Yes, I agree...Some of Karl's projects are humorous-creepy, this just strikes me as creepy-creepy! But he has a history of these sort of involvements, Jacques was pretty much of an obsession with him for many years, and there is plenty of evidence they were not lovers for most of that time...And when Jacques died Karl pretty much came apart for quite a while, but they never even lived together...Safe to say Karl is not a 'typical' sort of man in many ways...

Haven't been to this thread in ages and so glad I checked it out today........Chocolate Baptiste  WTF!!!!!!! This brings new meaning to the phrase 'if he were made of chocolate, he would eat himself '.......honestly these 2 are verging on the ridiculous and long may it go on.
Would love to see Karl's laundry bills, when Baps has melted all over the sheets.;)
