Best Fashion Shows of the 2010s

Wasn’t it about shows?
My favorite collections are totally different from my favorite shows...

Reading back on this thread, I have the same question about whether this is about the collections or the actual show

When it comes to the shows themselves, it can be different. For example: I always really liked the way Hedi Slimane presented his shows, though I didn't necessarily love the collections. He always puts on a really sophisticated and stylish presentation somehow. My other favorite "shows" were mostly by Margiela and Alexander McQueen (when both these designers were at their houses). Always were exciting and different.

Yohji Yamamoto F/W 14.15
Amazing show, the prints were fascinating and made the clothes look like street art come alive. I particularly liked the white coat with the wooden gears print, the "bejeweled" one and the black duvets at the beggining were also flawless in their monastic purity. It recalled his skimo show from F/W 00.01 (one of my favorites) but this time, on acid. The powerful dolls thing he said he was going for was very intriguing.

Another thing that I appreciate is how wearable most of this is, so desirable and comfortable looking. I still yearn for this clothes and that's the mark of a great show.

Gaultier's HC, FW05. The whole collection looked incredibly luxurious, and pricey, and I can't recall anything "cheesey". When you say "Parisian haute couture", this is the kind of clothes that comes to mind. (vogue.it)
