Best Self-Tanners

Jergens natural glow

alright so my friend was using this stuff and said it was good, so i decided to try it.
it's a moisturizer with sunless tanner in it. i think i look way better with a bit of a tan... but i'm paranoid about getting wrinkles, sunspots, skin cancer, etc. but also don't wanna be orange from sunless tanner either.

sooo i tried this stuff and its awesome. it gradually makes you more tan and gives you a nice glow. it doesn't make you orange at all either!! and it was only like $6.50.

i think i'm in love!! haha
i sound like an advertisement.. haha but i just wanted to let you all know. the only bad thing is that if kinda has this sunless tanner smell. but if you use it before you go to bed its gone in the morning. yep :D

My friends LOVE this stuff!!! It was sold out in NY EVERYWHERE for the longest time, but I got lucky and snagged a bottle as they were re-stocking some shelves 1 day.

I personally hated it. I hated the smell.. it gave me such a headache. I also felt kinda sticky after I used it. To be honest, I didn't use it long enough to see if it worked on myself, but it def. works on my friends. If you can deal with the smell, go for it!

I will say, if you want to try a sunless tanning lotion and are worried about streaks, this one is super easy to use!! It goes on pretty smooth and it isn't so dark that you would see streaks! you have to use it for a few days to see results I think.

Now a sunless tanner that I do love is St. Tropaz. They sell it at Sephora and I'm a huge fan!

Since I'm fair-skinned, blue-green-eyed, and a natural blonde, I have to majorly shun the sun. When I am out, I wear hats, shades, and La Roche-Posay Anthélios XL Fluide Extreme 60.

BUT! That doesn't mean I don't like to have summer color. So, I do a Level One (the lightest) Mystic spray-tan and maintain at home with Garnier Ambre Solaire Perfect Bronzer for Face, which I order from a Dublin pharmacy. Love it! For the body, I apply Coppertone's Endless Summer in Light/Medium with latex gloves. Every 3-4 nights is all it takes!

I have the same prob Emmie ... im a whiter shade of pale ... spend a day on the beach covered in SPF 30 and u still get a nice glow.

^ lifeis, I usually use the body bronzer for both my body AND face. I have never had any problems.

I´m olive skinned naturally and Lóreal Sublime Bronze looks natural on me, but I go to the gym quite a bit and I noticed it peeled off fairly quickly, anyone have any opinions on which one lasts the longest?

I have tried every brand of self tanner over the past few years at Sephora. The best, best is St. Tropez
It comes with an exfoliater, self tanner and moisturizer. All smell amazing and you don't get a sick feeling.
The tanner is amazing if you have fair skin, gives a golden color and if you want more, you just put more on. It is virtually fool proof.
You exfoliate, then lotion for an even tan, then self tanner.
It looks so natural that when I use it, people actually think that I am naturally "healthily complexted"...
Worth the money and lasts so long.

sounds great, do you know if there´s an online store that sells it? I can´t find it in any of the stores here :(

phoenix arizona fake bake

Hey there,

I am going to Phoenix Arizona for the first time in November, we will be staying next to a huge shopping mall (the largest?) and anyway, I'm looking to buy fake bake lotion somewhere here....Will it be readily available? I am wanting to buy several bottles.

Thank you so much. Sorry if this is a silly question!

Jergens' Natural Glow

I just bought a bottle of Jergens' Natural Glow moisturizer. Has anyone used this, and what is your experience (good/bad)?

Are you justing visiting Phoenix? If that's the case, I would just get all of your "tanning" done before going down there.

Yes..Only there for a few days shopping. But I want to pick up a few bottles while I'm there..

Have just tried the Lancome Flash Bronzer Airbrush, and it´s brilliant, easy to get on, dries fast and looks very natural. Put it on for the first time yesterday, so I don´t know how long-lasting it´s gonna be but I have high hopes for it :) I´d advise anyone who uses it to remember to put a towl or something on the floor to stand on, when it goes on the floor it does get a little slippery..

Not sure if you were replying to me, but since your message was under mine, I'd assume so :-)
You can purchase stuff on sephora.com and they have it.
