The Vogue Italia covers are just breathtaking. They're classically beautiful and at the same time surprising (if that makes any sense!).

It's notable that there aren't any 'celebrity' covers (Anna Wintour, take note), and that the best covers have minimal writing cluttering up the image... especially since (at least in UK vogue) I feel recent covers are tending the other way...

One of my favourite covers is the UK vogue one from (I think) January 2002, with all of the big British models in union-jack outfits (patriotism, yay! ). I've been Googling for a good ten minutes, but can't find it, has anyone got a scan?
