i bet destiny's child and beyonce fans are going to eat this stuff up.

Actually no.. a lot of the fans think that House of Dereon is pure crap.

I was watching their tour DVD and their costumes were so ugly, i wanted to cringe. Beyonce's boobs were popping out of every outfit. There was a detailed dress that looked tastefully done but they cut it in half and made it look like a top with shorts shorts. It was a nightmare.

The jeans they wore looked hideous aswell.

I own a piece from the winter 2005 collection from the House of Dereon. Its a white vest with very intense beading and stitching and a fur collar. When I saw it I thought that I would love it. And from far away its still looks really awesome with all of the flowery detail but I find myself only wearing that expensive piece of crap once in a while (sorry Tina and Beyonce..you know I love ya..but Dereon is not all that).

I'm a fan of the music. However, I don't want to go around looking like, acting like or trying to be these celebs! While I admire the fact they are trying to expand their reach to the masses, the musician celebs should focus their talents on what they do best - entertain! But, who knows maybe Donatella Versace or Marc Jacobs will come out with a CD in 2008!
