the clothes are okay for beyonce but a whole fashion line?

I really don´t like the colours, the gold, the champagne, all pretty old and stiff I would say. The first gown is surprisingly good but the rest is just mediocre. At least you can see that there´s a basic knowledge of design in these clothes, much more so than in J.Lo´s tacky RTW line.

it pisses me off too when stars design clothes, why can't they be happy sticking to what they are 'supposedly' good at, are they trying to take over the world.....

Their clothes are nasty. When they do catwallks shows they should play the Destiny Child's song 'Nasty girl' in the background. Wonder if Beyonce was being ironic when she wrote that.

I think her line looks better than babyphat '05 spring collection last year, which was absolutely Horrid It was total garbage! But hey, I feel like if Keenan Duffty can release a rag-tag-homeless-bum inspired collection and consider himself a "designer", hell anybody can put anything out there, including Beyonce. But, hey the beauty of it is -- you don't have to buy B-Wear, you don't even have to acknowledge it, me personally I plan to do the latter.

I'm very, very ashamed to say that some of those Keenan Duffty pieces are kinda cute. The outfits are grotty though.

I think a lot of these celebs are really full of themselves to take on thinsg like this. Beyonce has looked downright tacky in the past on the red carpet. Plus, I think it just makes them look greedy.

1. she is not pretty , kelly rowland is much prettier .
2. The name House of Derreon , sounds like a hemeroid product ie house of derriere haha

3. Beyonce has no style
4. The clothes will be hoochie mama clothes ( ie suitable for rap videos) oh how could I forget we cant leave out velour track suits (gag me )

Is she actually designing clothes for people to wear or for some weird costume party? Celebs don't even dress themselves and now they want to dress everybody else. and BTW, i actually sort of like Gwen Stefani's LAMB, but Beyonce's is disgusting

I find pretty much all the celeb-designed stuff to be tacky.

Part of the problem seems to be the focus. I remember when it was just first being talked about, it was supposed to be made to measure, special order kind of stuff. But to crack into the general market...it's going to have to spread beyond Beyonce. I actually think her mother is very talented, you can't knock that construction. But it leaves a lot to be desired from a design point of view, there's a lot going on in those dresses. It takes guts to be in this business, they certainly have it and have gotten in a lot easier than most so I think it's appropriate to expect something a little more resolved. It's an interesting progression in black design.
