Black Denim...

^ I agree.. grey/blue/black... So if you find some, point us in that direction!

I wore nothing but black jeans for many years and got so tired of them I thought I would never wear them again.

For a long time I associated them with men who didn't notice that the 80s had ended. They have big hair and big white leather sneakers.

I am feeling them again, though. I have a couple of pairs of washed-out grey ones I've been wearing, but I recently bought two pairs of skinny black jeans.

I am another one like mirrra who wasn't allowed to wear jeans to school for many years and it became a symbol of independence. I live in jeans. soft, I know I spend more time thinking about what I'm wearing than a lot of people with "fancier" clothes.

I see that purechris and Johnny know what I am talking about, and I am in complete agreement with henriette about the attitude.

For me, black jeans started with Richard Hell and the Voidoids:

Shout out to henriette and rhiannonmars, my fellow SF punk rockers. :mohawk:

I've been wearing blue denim for several seasons. I just started wearing black jeans and love them. I particularly love Nudie's (www.nudiejeans.com) black 'Slim Jim's'. I feel like Jim Morrison everytime I put these puppies on :D. The reason why I love jeans is the 'historical thread' behind them. No matter what you think of them, jeans evoke a sense of 'romanticism' of the past...

The Ramones typifies black jeans for me...ROCK ON!
