Boobs

How often do the implants have to be replaced, just out of curiousity?

It depends on the person and how the muscles and everything around them react. It could be ever 50 years, 10 years, or never.

I was told that If they were done and placed well, that you may never have to have them replaced.

This is sooooooooooooooo entertaining!!!

I'm with Alex and other guys, there'd have to be so much more to a woman than the boobies. I've been with girls of all sizes  .

implants need to be replaced for health reasons...
deadly black mold can grow inside the implants...even saline ones
(think about a fish tank or vase when you don't change the water)
and this can seep into your blood and bones...they should be replace every 5-10 yrs for precautionary reasons...

I came across an interesting article today where I read that Japanese prostitutes had breast implants already at the WW2 times...

^ Ewouuuuch.....

I think our society needs to move on. I don't get the cliche of american guys (especially) fantasizing about woman with more substance in the boobs than in the brain.

I am so fed up with stupid guys checking out girls just because of their boobs. Yuck, disgusting. Those guys need to get a life.

Very rarely I'll hear guys saying they don't mind the size of a girl's breast. VERY RARE.

the insides of implants are sterile. Mold cannot grow inside a closed sterile environment. Unless the implant breaks there is no mold getting in there. I was told by my surgeon that the mold and bacteria story is just a common misconception.

Very much like the funny story of tanning beds cooking your insides

i've seen it with my own eyes...i'm just sharing what i know...BLACK!!...honestly, it was gross...

everyone will have to decide what is right for them and how much they are willing to risk for themselves...

As much as I dislike the concept itself, I imagine the woman who actually has them would better know... :innocent:

Yes, I've seen the black ones. the ones which broke. I don't think that it can happen unless it has a hole or breaks. As I've been told and I've researched, mold cannot grow in a sealed environment.

Anyway, hopefully it wont happen to me! The surgery was a bit painful and I wouldn't want to do it again. I guess I'll have to if they break

Of course one has to know and be informed before they do anything to their bodies. I would have never had done it without researching it and reading all risks.

By law in most countries, surgeons have to give you a booklet with a list and explaination of ALL posibilities. The booklet had a long list but Mold was't listed.

yes...that's the way i understand it too...there has to be some sort of rupture or puncture...just be careful...you sound like you did your homework...which is good...

my boobs are kind of in the mid-range. i'm a c, but it gets in the way a lot with clothes. i have a pretty small waist so i wear small shirts, but i cannot wear button up shirts because the shirt always pops open at the bust. so i can get a size 2 shirt but i have to get it most the time two or three sizes bigger than that when it's button up:angry:
boobs suck.

apparently there is a way of determining your bra size by measuring different parts of the boobies. i know sephora's stand on this already but does anyone here feel reserved about err.. your boobies being seen by ppl you don't know? Mine get massages regularly so I guess not. I get massaged by a different therapist every time i go to the spa.

They touch your boobies at the spa?

That doesn't seem right.... are you sure that they're not coping a free feel?

 no ..... it's quite common in javanese / balinese massages. All the therapists are females and the methods used are more or less the same as the ones used by elderly women employed to care for a mother just after delivering a baby. Apart from being relaxing, these massages are supposed to help tone and firm up the body and prevent the boobs and tummy and thighs from sagging after giving birth. For new mothers, they normally have to wear some sort of binding on their abs after the massage as well.

Implants aren't all the same. Probably early implants have problems that don't happen anymore with newer ones... Like ages ago you had to change the belt on the refridgerator which you don't have to do anymore.
